Vaya manera de iniciar el 2023 para este jugador de la Selección Mexicana, quien sufrió un accidente automovilístico en Guadalajara, Jalisco.

El lateral del Tricolor, quien se encuentra de vacaciones en su ciudad natal con motivo de las fiestas decembrinas, se accidentó la madrugada del lunes 2 de enero, después de haber visitado un famoso restaurante de mariscos en la Perla Tapatía.

De hecho, el jugador en cuestión publicó a través de su perfil de Instagram algunas imágenes del lugar mientras comía.

¿Dónde y cómo ocurrió el accidente automovilístico?

Los hechos ocurrieron en el cruce de Avenida Patria y Acueducto, en el municipio de Zapopan, Jalisco.

Según testigos, el seleccionado nacional circulaba a exceso de velocidad, cuando perdió el control, así que el vehículo brincó el camellón y quedó del lado contrario tras colisionar con otro auto. Afortunadamente no hubo personas lesionadas.

¿Qué dijo Gerardo Arteaga sobre el accidente?

Gerardo Artega se pronunció sobre el desafortunado accidente de automóvil en el que se vio envuelto.

El defensa lateral aclaró que no ocurrió de madrugada, sino alrededor de las 11 de la noche cuando se dirigía a su casa después de cenar con su novia.

Asimismo, el futbolista dijo que la que iba manejando era su novia y que ninguno de los dos tomó bebida alcohólica alguna.

Por último, aclaró que no chocaron con ningún otro vehículo.
