Gignac renueva con Tigres dos años más y pondría fin a su carrera

André-Pierre Gignac renovó con Tigres por dos años. Con este acuerdo, el futbolista francés jugará con la institución felina hasta 2025, así lo anunció el club en sus redes sociales.

El delantero francés de 37 años llegó a Tigres en 2015, proveniente del Olympique de Marsella. Desde entonces ha anotado 181 goles en 317 partidos, además de 45 asistencias con los de la UANL.

Por si fuera poco todo esto, cuenta con cuatro títulos de Liga MX, tres Campeón de Campeones y una Concacaf Liga de Campeones.

Gignac en el Clausura 2023

El exseleccionado francés, quien busca de su cuarto título de goleo, suma tres goles en lo que va del Clausura 2023. Anotó ante Santos Laguna, Pachuca y Xolos.

Tigres, por su parte, ocupa el tercer lugar de la Clasificación con ocho puntos, producto de dos victorias e igual número de empates.

El equipo de Diego Cocca es uno de los cuatro equipos invictos en el Clausura 2023, los otros tres son América, Atlas y Toluca.

¿Se retirará en México?

Una vez que termine su contrato con Tigres, André-Pierre Gignac pondrá fin a su carrera como futbolista vistiendo los colores de la escuadra felina, así lo afirmó el delantero.

En entrevista para TUDN, el atacante confesó que su sueño es terminar su camino como profesional en la Liga MX, aunque si llegase a sentirse con facultades para seguir, consideraría su continuidad.
